PT Transindo Multi Prima Tbk (the Company) formerly PT Rimba Niaga Idola, was established based on notarial deed No.247 dated April 11, 1987 of Misahardi Wilamarta, SH., notary in Jakarta. In 2000, the Company changed its name to PT Bentoel Internasional Investama Tbk. The Minister of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia approved the deed of establishment in his decision letter no. C2-1219.HT.01.01.Th.89 dated February 4, 1989 and was published in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia No.90 Supplement No.2990/1989 dated November 10, 1989. The articles of association has been amended several times, the latest changes in the articles of association of the Company was based on notarial deed No.56 dated February 25, 2000 of Fathiah Helmi SH, notary in Jakarta, regarding the change in the Company’s name to PT Bentoel International Investama Tbk, increase in authorized capital and several amendments in the articles of association to comply with the decision of the Chairman of Bapepam No Kep.13/PM/1997 and No Kep.44/PM/1998. The Minister of Justice and Legislation of the Republic of Indonesia approved these changes in his decision letter no. C2-3988.HT.01.04 Th.2000 dated February 28, 2000.

The scope of its activities is to engaged in general trading, industry, construction, forestry and services, except for tax and legal services.
