IQPlus, (24/9) - Bank Indonesia (BI) dan Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) pada 24 September 2026 telah menandatangani Nota Kesepahaman (Memorandum of Understanding/MoU) untuk memperkuat kerja sama di bidang pembayaran lintas negara berbasis Quick Response (QR) code. MoU tersebut telah ditandatangi oleh Gubernur Bank Indonesia, Destry Damayanti dan Chief Executive Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Eddie Yue.
Dalam siaran pers BI (24/9) BI dan HKMA berkomitmen memperkuat hubungan bilateral serta membangun mekanisme kerja sama yang efektif guna mendorong pembayaran lintas negara antara Indonesia dan Hong Kong yang lebih cepat, lebih terjangkau, transparan, dan inklusif.
Berdasarkan MoU tersebut, kedua pihak akan menyelenggarakan dialog terkait aspek teknis, operasional, dan regulasi yang relevan, serta menjajaki skema untuk memfasilitasi interoperabilitas pembayaran lintas negara berbasis QR code di antara kedua wilayah. (end)
