IQPlus, (12/10) - Amazon sedang dalam negosiasi untuk mengakuisisi Decart AI, sebuah perusahaan rintisan (startup) kecerdasan buatan, dalam kesepakatan yang diperkirakan bernilai sekitar US$7 miliar, demikian dilaporkan The Wall Street Journal.
Akuisisi tersebut dapat segera rampung jika negosiasi tidak gagal, ungkap Journal, mengutip sumber-sumber yang mengetahui masalah ini.
Pada bulan September, Anthropic memutuskan untuk tidak mengakuisisi Decart AI.
Pembuat chatbot Claude telah melakukan pembicaraan untuk mengakuisisi Decart dengan nilai sekitar US$6 miliar dan telah melakukan uji tuntas terhadap perusahaan target tersebut.
Decart didirikan pada tahun 2023 oleh tiga insinyur asal Israel: kakak-beradik Dean dan Orian Leitersdorf, serta Moshe Shalev. (end/Bloomberg)
